Inventory of Raymond Queneau’s personal notes and manuscripts
The basic inventory of Queneau’s collection results from the CIDRE’s activities. Of course, it doesn’t follow the international norm of archivistic description (ISAD(G), 1999) but, in its current condition, it allows a valuable first approach of this manuscript, literary and scientific set.
Only the inventory is available on the website, the 30 000 digitized sheets can be seen at the Dijon University’s library.
This access restriction is a will of the assignee.
The University’s library had favoured a quick launch. Major structural modifications of the inventory had consequently been postponed. However, a counting had been performed as well as updates (disappearance, iterative sheets, etc). Yet mistakes and ambiguities remain. Some sheets which readability had been improved remain hard to read because of the poor quality of some photocopies. All contributions from readers to improve this first searching tool are welcome: precisions, designations, rectifications may be reported to the Queneau’s workgroup.l'équipe Queneau.
Any reader who wishes to consult the Queneau’s collection on paper shall read the following rules concerning its consultation and use :
