  Queneau’s collection : a directory of quenians

This directory aims to facilitate contacts amongst the Quenian community, including French or foreign Quenian, academics or not, in literary or audiovisual society.

The names in the directory have been shared out in three circles: each of them has been constituted depending of the activity’s level of each Quenian. Does this one still writes or publishes about Queneau ? Does he take part to conferences? Or did he write a thesis about Queneau and never got back on the subject afterwards?
Each Quenian’s work can be then checks out in the hulking Charles Kestermeier’s bibliography, a major complementary resource.

As a consequence, the first circle brings together the active Quenians, in others words Quenians who produce importantly or very importantly, and whose latest work doesn’t date from more than ten years back.

Quenians from the second circle produce more punctually; they are often persons who wrote a thesis or an university’s essay without having kept on writing about Queneau. In Kestermeier’s bibliography, these Quenians only have a few entries under their name. Even though they did write on Queneau, he isn’t a major part of their field of study.

The third cercle reunites Quenians whose contribution has been relevant at some point, but who aren’t a part of the “Quenian landscape” anymore (often because they’re deceased).
